Dr. Sobin Sunny is a dedicated and emerging academician currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine. He joined our institution as Assistant Professor in September 2021 and has since been actively involved in academic, research, and community health activities.
He completed his MBBS from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery in 2014 and pursued his MD in Community Medicine from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore.
After completing his postgraduate training, Dr. Sobin Sunny worked as Senior Resident at Al-Azhar Medical College and Super Specialty Hospital, Thodupuzha, where he gained valuable experience in public health and medical education.
Dr. Sobin Sunny is known for his dedication to teaching, student mentorship, and commitment to community-oriented healthcare. His enthusiasm for academics and active participation in departmental activities continue to contribute significantly to the growth of the department.
