Dr. Rakesh Ramachandran is a dedicated academician and healthcare professional with specialized training in Community Medicine. He joined our institution as a Senior Resident in the Department of Community Medicine on 18 June 2025 and was subsequently promoted to the position of Assistant Professor in recognition of his academic and professional contributions.
He completed his MBBS from SUT Academy of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, and pursued MD (Community Medicine) from Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Calicut. His strong academic foundation and specialized expertise in Community Medicine have equipped him with valuable knowledge and skills in preventive medicine, public health, and community-based healthcare.
He actively contributes to the department's academic and teaching activities, sharing his knowledge and experience with medical students and fostering a strong understanding of community-oriented healthcare practices.
