Dr. Amrutha M.S. joined us as Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine on 13-01-2025. She has a strong academic background in medicine and public health, with a particular focus on community-based healthcare and preventive medicine.
She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur, and obtained MD in Community Medicine from Government T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha. She contributes to undergraduate medical education, academic activities, and research initiatives. Her role involves fostering students’ understanding of public health principles, preventive and promotive healthcare, epidemiological methods, and the importance of addressing health issues at the community level.
