Dr. Mitha K.V. joined our institution as Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology on 18 August 2023. She is an accomplished academician with a strong background in teaching, research, and medical education.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and pursued her Master’s degree in Medical Physiology from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore. Further strengthening her academic credentials, she earned a Ph.D. in Medical Physiology, reflecting her deep commitment to research and higher education in the field of Physiology.
Her dedication to teaching, combined with her research expertise, has made her a valuable contributor to the department. Known for her professional approach and commitment to academic excellence, Dr. Mitha continues to play an important role in strengthening the department through quality teaching, mentoring, and scholarly contributions.
