Dr. Kanniyan Binub is an innovative, multitalented faculty who is an all-rounder in curricular and extracurricular activities. He is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine. He has completed MBBS from Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram and MD in Community Medicine from Kannur Medical College. He has also done masters degree in Hospital Administration. He had secured Fellowship in Occupational & Environmental health from Indian Council of Medical Research, Bangalore. He has undergone program in Foundational Auditory Training Program from Central Institute of Deaf at United States of America. He is trained in Basic & Advanced Epidemiology and Statistics from Christian Medical College, Vellore and pursued PhD in Community Medicine. He has been associating with WHO, UNICEF, Health Ministry, ICMR and Local Self Government bodies for various health projects. He has more than twenty publications in national and international journals. Currently he is holding the position Joint Secretary of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine, Kerala Chapter and is one of the founder Director of IDRL. He has joined our institution since 1st April 2020.
