Remarkable masterstroke towards research excellence !
Malabar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre has decided to take a decisive leap in promoting research. On 12 April 2022, Sree Anjaneya Medical Trust was awarded the prestigious DSIR (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research) certification and officially became a SIRO. (Scientific and Industrial Research Organization).
From this point on, any researcher from Malabar Medical College; or Sree Anjaneya Institute of Dental Sciences; or Sree Anjaneya College of Nursing; or Sree Anjaneya College of Paramedical Sciences; or Sree Anjaneya School of Paramedical Sciences; would be able to apply for research grants for high quality research activities. This is considered to be one small step in a larger vision to develop an academic culture deeply rooted in the principles of the scientific method.
Sincere efforts are already underway to attract funds for various research activities. Malabar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is now well and truly on track to becoming an institute of excellence in medical research and now offers concrete and serious opportunities to the next generation scientists.
