Dr. Meera K is an industrious and inspiring educator with a deep commitment to academic excellence and student-centered teaching in the field of Anatomy. She completed her MBBS from Vinayaka Mission's Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal, in 2009 and went on to pursue her MD in Anatomy from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry, graduating in 2013.
She has held academic positions at several esteemed institutions, including Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute (Puducherry), PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (Kuppam), and Akash Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre (Bangalore). In each of these roles, Dr. Meera demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentorship, building a strong foundation in anatomical sciences for her students.
Dr. Meera joined our institution in 2019 as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy and was subsequently promoted to the position of Professor. She has authored academic books in the field of Anatomy, further showcasing her dedication to enriching anatomical education and contributing to the academic community.
Known for her clarity in teaching, approachable nature, and commitment to academic innovation, Dr. Meera K continues to play a key role in shaping the intellectual and professional growth of medical students at our institution.
