World Environmental Health Day - 26th September 2023.
World Environmental Health Day programme was organized by Sahasra
Women Cell, MMC and Student Union. The programme started with a talk by
Dr. P V Narayanan - Principal, where he emphasized about the motto of the Standing
up to protect everyone’s health each and every day. Dr. Sudha - Chairperson
Sahasra Women Cell, MMC, spoke about environment and pollution. Dr Dinesh - Deputy
Superintendent, spoke about how we should discourage the use of plastics. An
awareness drive regarding minimizing the use of plastics was given by Dr.
Swathi, Assistant Professor, Community Medicine.
