CME - POTCON 2026 – FOOT & ANKLE TRAUMA - Department of Orthopaedics
The Department of Orthopaedics, Malabar Medical College, organised POTCON 2026 – Foot & Ankle Trauma (Volume 8) on Sunday, 19 July 2026, at Sapphire Hall, Academic Block, Malabar Medical College, Ulliyeri, Kozhikode, under the aegis of the Kerala Orthopaedic Association (KOA), Calicut Orthopaedic Society (CaOS), and Malabar Orthopaedic Society (MOS). The programme was conceived as a focused academic conference dedicated exclusively to contemporary concepts in foot and ankle
trauma, bringing together experienced national faculty and enthusiastic delegates from across Kerala.
The CME was attended by orthopaedic consultants, postgraduate trainees, residents, and faculty members from various teaching institutions and hospitals. The scientific sessions were carefully structured to provide a comprehensive review of common as well
as complex foot and ankle injuries, integrating current evidence with practical surgical experience. Every lecture was followed by interactive discussions that encouraged participants to clarify doubts and exchange ideas with the faculty.
