Dr. Virupaksha H. S joined our institution on 16th April 2024 as a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry. He brings with him a strong academic and clinical background, having completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and his MD in Biochemistry from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Virupaksha served at SSPM Medical College, Maharashtra, where he gained extensive experience in both teaching and research. His expertise in biochemistry and dedication to academic excellence have made him a respected figure in the field.
Currently, he is serving as the Head of the Department of Biochemistry, leading the department with a focus on advancing education, research, and clinical applications in biochemistry. Under his leadership, the department aims to foster a dynamic learning environment that nurtures scientific curiosity and professional growth among students.
