The Department of Critical Care Medicine at Malabar Medical College is a well-equipped facility designed to provide the highest level of care for critically ill patients. The 30-bedded unit is staffed by a team of highly trained and experienced healthcare professionals, who liaise with experts from other branches of medicine to provide comprehensive care. Patients admitted to the department benefit from a range of life-saving interventions and advanced medical care, including hemodynamic resuscitation, intubation and mechanical ventilation, haemodialysis, and advanced levels of monitoring. The department operates 24/7 and is covered by intensivists round the clock, ensuring that patients receive prompt and effective medical attention whenever they need it. In addition to providing high-quality care for patients, the Department of Critical Care Medicine also offers training opportunities for postgraduates in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Anaesthesia, helping to ensure that the future of critical care medicine is in good hands.Clinical Focus
