Dr. Paul O. Raphael is a highly accomplished anesthesiologist and healthcare administrator with over 27 years of distinguished experience in clinical practice, medical education, and hospital leadership. He plays a pivotal role in guiding the institution’s commitment to excellence in patient care, medical education, and healthcare innovation.
As Medical Director, Dr. Paul provides strategic leadership in clinical governance, quality assurance, patient safety initiatives, and institutional development. Under his guidance, Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre continues to strengthen its reputation as a center of excellence in healthcare delivery, education, and research. His vast experience in both academic and clinical settings has enabled him to mentor medical professionals while promoting evidence-based medical practices.
Dr. Paul completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere, and earned his MD in Anaesthesiology from the prestigious Father Muller Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore. Throughout his illustrious career, he has served in various esteemed healthcare institutions, gaining extensive expertise in anesthesiology, perioperative care, critical care management, and healthcare administration.
