(Prof.) Dr. Rebecca Abraham is an excellent teacher of our institution who has done BSc Chemistry from Madras University in 1972, MSc in biochemistry from Lucknow University in 1974 and further pursued M.Phil., PhD Biochemistry in 1988. She took her career as Demonstrator, Lecturer, Reader and Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. She served as the Head of Department, Biochemistry in CMC Ludhiana (1994-1996) and Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science (2004-2008). She has membership in several scientific societies, pursued fellowships and awards in her career journey. She is an invited speaker in many conferences and has many publications in national and international journals. Currently she is working as Professor and Head of Biochemistry Department in our institution.
